Time-lapse photography for video clips

Time-lapse photography for video clips. A technique where the recorded frame rate is much lower than that used to view the sequence. Therefore when played at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing. For example, an image of a scene may be captured once every second, then played back at 25 frames per second. The result is an apparent 25-times speed increase. Time-lapse photography can be considered the opposite of high speed photography or slow motion. [Wikipedia]

Time-lapse commissions and archive

I undertake commissions to shoot time-lapse photography for video clips used in online marketing. To illustrate changes over an hour, a day, a week, a month or even year(s). The resulting sequences can be supplied as images or composed as an animated movie. In addition, these can be in any video format from DVD quality through to HD for online presentation and also 4K.

A sample of time-lapse sequences have been uploaded here www.alexrowbotham.com, some were made for fun and some for clients. Projects undertaken to shoot photographic sequences or video are at home or abroad, studio based or on location. In addition, I have many more in my archive available for purchase under licence. Please ask for any particular subjects.
