Time-lapse photography for video clips

Time-lapse photography for video clips. A technique where the recorded frame rate is much lower than that used to view the sequence. Therefore when played at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing.

For example, an image of a scene may be captured once every second, then played back at 25 frames per second. The result is an apparent 25-times speed increase. Time-lapse photography is the opposite of high speed photography or slow motion. [Wikipedia]

Time-lapse commissions and archive

Clients commission me to shoot time-lapse photography to be used in online marketing. These sequences illustrate changes over an hour, a day, a week, a month or even year(s). I supply the resulting sequences as images or composed as an animated movie. In addition, these can be in any video format from DVD quality through to HD for online presentation and even 4K.

To view a sample of time-lapse sequences, visit www.alexrowbotham.com. I created these videos just for fun and for commissions.
